Episode 5 Trapped Harts Part 2

Based Upon The ABC Television Series Created By Sidney Sheldon

Written By Sara Duckworth

Hart House Night

Max and other male friends of Jonathan's are seated around a table in the living room playing poker. An old friend of the Harts, a lieutenant with the police, Harry, is one of the six players. He is seated across from Max. Freeway is standing up on a stool facing the bar watching the game.

"Max, thanks for having us over tonight," one of the players says.

"No problem. With Mr. and Mrs. H out of town for a couple of weeks, I thought it would be nice if I could play poker with you guys for a change."

"The last time I played poker with you, Max, you beat the pants off of me," Harry says. "I'm going to see if I can beat the pants off of you for a change."

"Lieutenant, you're on," Max replies with a wide grin as they continue playing.

"So, Harry, what is it like living in Boston now?" another player asks. "We haven't had a chance to play this game with you since you were transferred to the police department down there."

"It is all right. It gets too cold for my blood. Speaking of the last time we played poker, that was the night Jonathan got the telephone call from Dorothy telling him that Sam was dead."

"That's right. I'll never forget that night or the look on Jonathan's face after he told us the news."

"I'm glad Jonathan and Jennifer caught those criminals. They deserve to be put behind bars. Like I told Jennifer, there were ten other analysts involved from all over the country."

"It's cons like Dr. Peterson, Dr. Flemin’, and Dr. Metz that give analysts a bad name," Max remarks.

"At least they're facing life in prison for the racket they had going," the lieutenant replies. "Speaking of Sam, has Jonathan heard from Dorothy since that night?" he asks, turning to Max.

"Yeah, Mr. and Mrs. H dropped by for a visit before they went to La Scala on the night that marked the sixth anniversary of Sam's death. They keep in touch occasionally."

"La Scala, huh?" another poker player asks with a smile. "A special occasion?"

"If you call wantin' to thank your wife for helpin' you see to it that those scums got caught a special occasion, yeah."

"Jonathan has always been a romantic," the player says.

"I'll say. You should have seen the red ruby necklace he got for Mrs. H. Can you guess why he got it for her?"

"He bought it to replace the ruby she lost in his card game?" the lieutenant guesses.

"Yeah," Max replies with a look of surprise. "How did you know?"

"Jonathan told me all about how that poker game turned out once he and Jennifer got back from Africa. After he lost his shirt, I'm glad I wasn't invited after all."

"I sure hope Jonathan and Jennifer are enjoying themselves in Egypt. Jonathan is sure one heck of a lucky guy! He gets to travel to all kinds of foreign places. If I had his money and a wife like Jennifer, I'd die a happy man right now," the third poker player seated next to the lieutenant says.

"You may die of  a heart attack now if you don't stop babblin’ and concentrate on the game," Max points out since he is shuffling his cards instead of playing with the rest of them.

"Oh, sorry,” he says as he stops shuffling the cards and gets back to participating in the game.

Freeway barks with his head pointed sideways.

"What is it, Freeway?" Max asks as they turn to face the TV. There is a female reporter on the television speaking about some latest news on the news channel.

"Hey, they're talking about King Tut's treasures!" one of the poker players exclaims as a picture of the artifacts is being shown. Max and the other players continue staring at the screen, wondering what the reporter is saying. Max rises from his seat. "I wonder what is going on," he says as Max walks over to the television set to turn the volume up so he and the rest of the players can hear what is being said.

"We have just received word that the Egyptian artifacts that were found in King Tut's tomb several weeks ago, were stolen from The Egyptian Museum between 9:00 and 10:00 PM just hours after the grand opening. Besides from the theft, a guard was also killed. The murder weapon has not been discovered. The news is making international headlines across the world as this robbery involves one of the most valuable treasures stolen in years. The news come as a shock to Egypt's locals who were hoping the artifacts would increase tourism. Archeologists, who participated in the expedition, are stunned.  They are hoping these treasures can be found and returned without damage done to them. Press from all over the world had come to cover the opening. The reporters in attendance have already written an article about the theft, and every newspaper throughout the world is already making money off of this unfortunate incident."

Max turns to the other poker players as they each exchange a look of shock at the news they had just heard. They turn their attention back to the TV to continue hearing the rest. A picture of Jonathan and Jennifer shaking hands with Mr. Mohamed comes up on the screen behind the newscaster's head.

"It has come to our attention that Jonathan Hart, CEO of Hart Industries, was acting as a consultant to the museum for security measures. It is Hart Industries that was using The Egyptian Museum as a test site for their new state of the art camera that was installed in areas throughout the museum. His wife, Jennifer Hart, who is a freelance journalist, was accompanying her husband while covering a story on the relics. Mrs. Hart almost majored in archeology. Shani Hanania, who is public relations for the museum, went to the same college as Mrs. Hart. On her recommendation, Jennifer Hart was suggested for the assignment. The police revealed the camera was dismantled, and they have yet to discover if it can be of any help in the investigation. Mr. Hart was given the camera for one of his employees in the research department to see if the tape can be of any help in identifying who is behind the theft. When the lieutenant was asked if he had anything else to say about the theft and the security installed, he ignored the questions. Local news channels and newspapers in Egypt have tried to get a response from the Harts who are staying at The Fairmont, but they have been unsuccessful so far. Hopefully Jonathan and Jennifer Hart can be reached soon for comment. As for Mrs. Hanania and the curator of museum, Mr. Abasi Mohamed, they have refused to comment."

Max turns the TV off and turns to the others. "I wonder what Mr. and Mrs. H are doin' to get themselves out of this one."

Great Pyramids of Giza

Jonathan and Jennifer are continuing screaming and begging for help as they are still pounding on the secret entrance, hoping to attract the attention of a tourist or a local to help them get out of the tomb. Their hands by now are beginning to get exhausted from all the heavy pounding. They sigh in frustration and cease this course of action since it is not getting them out of this predicament they have found themselves in.

"Darling, we're going to have to see if we can find a way out by ourselves," Jonathan says, calmly.

"How?  It is crowded in here. I can barely move."

"Maybe there is a passageway or a secret exit from this tomb that Mohamed doesn't know about. If we only had some light."

After hearing her husband say, "light," she begins searching through her purse. "I think we may be in luck. I am sure I have a flashlight in my purse. Oh, here it is," Jennifer says, finding the small flashlight which she takes out. She turns the flashlight on and hands it to Jonathan. Using the flashlight, they begin looking around for a passageway or a way out. Suddenly they hear a hissing sound. Jonathan and Jennifer stop as they look at each other with a look of worry of what they may be facing now on top of everything else. Jonathan turns the flashlight in the direction ahead of them. Only feet away from the corpse, a large cobra snake, is across from them, hissing.

"Jonathan," Jennifer stutters, quietly, in a panic. She is horrified at seeing the dangerous and deadly reptile. Jonathan hands Jennifer the flashlight. Reacting and thinking fast on his feet, he begins searching through Jennifer's purse as the snake begins crawling toward them. "Jonathan!" Jennifer exclaims. The snake crawls closer and closer. Jennifer becomes speechless. She begins tugging on the sleeve of her husband's shirt just as Jonathan brings out a clarinet which he manages to find in his wife's purse. Immediately he begins playing a soft and peaceful melody on the instrument. Jennifer turns to Jonathan, thunderstruck and wondering what he is doing playing a clarinet when a snake is approaching them. After a few seconds, the snake stops crawling and hissing as Jonathan continues playing. Finally after a few more moments, the snake turns around and crawls back in the direction from which he came. Once the snake is out of sight, Jonathan stops playing. Jennifer heaves a huge sigh of relief.

"That certainly was the best choice of souvenir you chose to buy," Jonathan remarks.

"Where did you pick that up from?" Jennifer asks as she looks at the instrument.

"Well, I figured if a clarinet attracted the attention of a cobra for Lou Costello, it might have the opposite effect for us."

"You chose to play with that instrument as a risk of saving our lives because of some old comedy routine you saw in a movie? I heard just to leave them alone and get out of their way."

"I heard that too, darling, but I doubt if that snake knew that. Besides the clarinet was the only thing I could think of."

"Well, let's see if we can find a way out of here," Jennifer says as she hands the flashlight back to her husband. Jonathan takes it as they continue looking around the tomb.

Hart House

Max and the other men gathered around the table are continuing playing their game of poker as Freeway continues to watch.

"I believe I am going to beat the pants off you, Max," Harry says with a sly smile as he looks at his cards.

"Really? Let's see, lieutenant," Max replies.

The other poker players watch with anticipation.

"I got three queens," the lieutenant says as he places his cards down on the table.

"I'm afraid this just may be your lucky night," Max responds as he looks up at Harry. "I only got two jacks."

Harry grins with a wide smile as he begins to pick up the chips.

"Oh, wait a second," Max replies after glancing over his cards again. "And three kings," Max says with a grin. "Would you care to pay me now or later?" Max asks as he takes the chips.

Harry sighs in frustration and gives Max a look of annoyance. "Why did I agree to the bet in the first place?" he asks as he takes out his wallet.

"You were just too sure of yourself, lieutenant. Would you care to see if you can get your money back?"

"Yeah, I would, but not with you. I'll try my luck with Jonathan if he gets back before my vacation time is up," Harry retorts as he opens up his wallet.  As he starts to count the money quietly, he sees Max holding out his hand, patiently waiting for the money.

Great Pyramids of Giza

Jonathan and Jennifer are standing beside each other feeling over the left wall of the tomb, to see if they can find a secret passageway or way out.

"I wonder if there is a certain place you have to touch to find a way out," Jennifer comments. "Mohamed just touched a spot in the secret entrance and right before our very eyes, a door opened."

"He told us he had been in so many tombs during his life, he just could walk out of them blindfolded. If there is a secret way out, it would have to been one he didn't know about."

"Something tells me we'd be better off trying to squeeze through ahead of us to see if we can find a way out."

"I agree. Feeling our way on each side of the tomb will take up too much time. Let's chance it," Jonathan replies as they head toward the back with him leading the way with the flashlight.

As they reach the dead man's body, they carefully step over him. Just as they continue on looking around ahead of them, they hear a noise up above.

"What's that?" Jennifer wonders out loud, nervously.

Jonathan shines the flashlight up above and sees that large rocks are about to fall inside the tomb.

"GET DOWN!!!" Jonathan yells as he pushes Jennifer to the ground. Jonathan manages to escape being crushed  just in time as several large rocks come crashing through out of nowhere. They land in front of the secret doorway, blocking access to the entrance. The Harts lift themselves up and look behind them to see where the rocks landed.

"Oh, Jonathan, if anyone knew the secret entrance was there, they'll never be able to get to us," Jennifer replies with fear.

"Come on, darling. We got to work faster to get out of this place," Jonathan tells his wife, gently.

As they continue working on their task up ahead, they suddenly find the tomb even more narrow and cramped. Jonathan and Jennifer struggle to move around and begin gasping for air.

"Our garage is bigger," Jennifer remarks.

"Yes, except it wasn't built to be a burial chamber," Jonathan says.

"I have heard of booby traps, but making a tomb too narrow to move is a new one to me."

"Whatever Egyptians built this tomb, must have thought making this pyramid too cramped to move around would discourage grave robbers if they weren't stopped by snakes or rocks."

"Can anything else go wrong?"

Jennifer has no sooner gotten the words out when suddenly the ground below their feet reveals hidden holes. They find themselves falling into a deep pit below. Jonathan and Jennifer are knocked unconscious by the fall.

Le Meridien Hotel

Dr. Deacon walks into the lobby of the hotel. He walks over to the front desk.

"Are there any messages for me?" he asks the desk clerk.

"Yes, doctor. A Jonathan Hart left a message for you. I'll get it," she says as she turns behind her. The woman takes out the written message she wrote down when Jonathan had called the hotel. She hands the archeologist the message.

"Thank you."

He walks away from the desk and opens the message. He reads it. A frown comes across his face after reading the message. He slips it into a pocket of his pants. He rushes out of the hotel.

Hart House

Max stands in front of the bar on the telephone as the other poker players listen in.

"All right. Thanks." He hangs up the receiver. "I can't get through to Mr. and Mrs. H,” Max says, turning to the other men. “The desk clerk said they went out, but he didn't have any idea where.”

"Knowing Jonathan, he and Jennifer are probably out trying to wrap up this case," Harry says.

"That is exactly what they are doin'. I wonder what Mr. and Mrs. H are up to."

Great Pyramids Of Giza

Jonathan and Jennifer are still knocked out cold in the pit when they finally come through.

"Me and my big mouth," Jennifer says, scolding herself as she and Jonathan pick themselves off of their feet.

"You had no way of knowing we were going to fall into a pit," Jonathan replies as he picks up the flashlight beside him.

"No, but after everything else we had experienced, I should have known better than to say something."

"I'll say this for the Egyptians, they had better security than we do in our own home."

"Considering the amount of times people have made themselves feel at home, I have to second that."

"Let's see what else this tomb has in store for us," Jonathan says, turning on the flashlight that turned off when they fell.

"After today, I'm not sure if I want to look at another tomb ever again."

"That makes two of us, darling."

Upon looking, they discover that there are ancient sarcophaguses around them.

"I wonder if any of these contain a way out of here," Jonathan says, walking over to one.

"After the way we found ourselves in this tomb, I wouldn't be surprised," Jennifer replies, joining her husband.

Jonathan opens one and sees it contains a mummy in it. He closes it and goes over to another sarcophagus. He opens it and just like the previous one, it also contains a mummy's remains.

"Let's hope we get lucky on the third try," Jonathan comments as he heads toward a sarcophagus behind them. This one is sideways as it stands with the back toward a wall. Jonathan opens it. To their relief and surprise, it is empty except for an opening to a secret passageway.

"How about that?" Jennifer says with a smile, approaching.

"We got lucky. Ladies first," Jonathan replies as he points his flashlight toward the opening.  Jonathan takes her hand as she goes on ahead of him. After entering the passageway, Jonathan goes in behind Jennifer and shuts the stone coffin.

Meanwhile outside the back of the tomb, a young Egyptian student, is giving a tour of the pyramids to his American friends.

"Now this tomb is only known by locals. It is known to be dangerous and cramped. Because the tomb is located in an deserted part of the complex, no tourists know about it."

Just as the young man is about to continue on with his speech, a secret door turns around. Jonathan and Jennifer come through. Their exit startles the children who are taken by surprise at their sudden presence and disheveled appearance. Jonathan is holding onto Jennifer's arm as they are gasping for air. They look as if they are suffering from heatstroke. Sweat is pouring down from their forehead.

"Oh, don't let us bother you," Jonathan says. "Get on with your tour. Have fun."

"Good day," Jennifer tells them, managing a smile as Jonathan leads her away.

The children stare after the couple, speechless.

"Boy!" the young Egyptian exclaims, turning to his friends. "What a strange couple!"

"They must be bored if they want to check out a dangerous tomb," a girl says, shaking her head in amazement. "Don't they know about all the other pyramids and fun stuff they could be doing while they are in Egypt?"

"Yes, and my mama lectures me on exploring tombs by myself when I haven't even thought about it?!!" he asks in disbelief.

"Talk about odd. But what can you expect from rich people? I saw the fancy sandals the lady was wearing."

"Wait till my mama hears about this. She thought only us kids don't have any sense."

Road In Cairo

Dr. Deacon is riding in a taxi on his way to The Great Pyramids Of Giza. The driver is driving the speed limit.

"Can't you drive any faster please?" Dr. Deacon asks, frantically.

The driver starts yelling and complaining in Arabic.

Great Pyramids of Giza

Jonathan and Jennifer are walking back to where they can get transportation. They have passed the isolated part of the complex and are now back where there are people near them.

"Oh, Jonathan, I can't walk much further. I feel like I'm going to pass out," Jennifer says as she lays her head on her husband's shoulder.

"Try to hang on, darling. I'll see about getting us some medical attention."

Just then an older Egyptian couple are riding their own camel when they come upon the Harts. Seeing their condition and appearance, the husband brings the animal to a stop.

"Can I be of any help?" he asks with concern.

"Only if you could give us a lift," Jonathan says, turning to face him as he places his hand above his eyes to block out the sun which is shining in their faces.

"I'll do better than that," the man says, getting down from the camel. "You can have ours."

"We don't want to put you out," Jennifer replies.

"Don't worry about us. We'll manage. You look like you should see a doctor. What are you doing out here in the hot sun for so long?" he asks, giving them a look of disapproval as they approach the camel.

"It wasn't exactly our idea," Jennifer says, embarrassed.

"It's a long story," Jonathan tells him. "Thank you for the use of the camels."

"Yes, thank your wife for us as well," Jennifer adds as Jonathan helps her onto the camel.

"Do you know how to ride a camel?" he asks as his wife brings her camel to a stop.

"No, but I think we'll manage," Jonathan replies. "We can ride a horse."

The man's wife begins calling to her husband. He walks over to her. She asks what is going on, and he explains the situation. She looks over at the Harts with worry and nods her head in agreement. He walks back over to Jonathan and Jennifer as his wife gets down from her camel.

"My wife is more than willing to let you ride her camel. She is worried about your well-being." The wife brings the camel over to Jonathan.

"Thank you," Jonathan tells her as he gets on the camel.

"You better let me tell you how to ride," the husband insists.

"We appreciate the offer, but I think we better get going if we want to make it out of here before we pass out. My wife can't take much more. Thanks again," Jonathan says as they turn their camel back in the direction in which they're going.

Jennifer manages a smile and waves to the couple as she and Jonathan pass them.

"How are you making out?" Jonathan yells to his wife over his shoulder as they enjoy the ride.

"I'm making out just fine. This is easy," Jennifer yells back. "This is just like Road To Morocco with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby."

Jonathan flashes her a smile and then turns his attention back to the camel. Minutes later Jonathan and Jennifer reach the end of their journey. Jonathan gets down and goes over to help Jennifer off of her camel.

Just then Dr. Deacon rushes over to them.

"Oh My God!" he exclaims seeing their appearance and condition. "Jonathan and Jennifer, what on earth happened?!"

"We were given an unexpected tour of a tomb courtesy of Mohamed himself," Jonathan replies.

"You mean you were trapped inside one?! You and Jennifer could have been killed!" Doctor Deacon exclaims in shock.

"Tell us about it," Jennifer comments with a sigh.

"I better get you back to your hotel and have you checked out. I have a taxi waiting."

As Jonathan and Jennifer follow the doctor to the taxi, Jonathan puts his hand on his wife's arm, helping her walk along the way.

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

Jonathan and Jennifer lie on their back on their bed in their suite. Their legs are elevated on a pillow. Cool towels lay on their forehead and legs as Dr. Deacon stands facing them.

"It is a good thing the heatstroke isn't serious," he says.  "What were you doing at The Great Pyramids of Giza in the first place?" he asks.

"When we got back from the cafe, we found a note addressed to Jonathan under the door," Jennifer explains. "It appeared to be from Shani. The note claimed she had found evidence of Mohamed being involved in the theft, and she wanted us to meet her at The Great Pyramids of Giza."

"We called her first, but we didn't get an answer," Jonathan tells the archeologist.

"That's when you called my hotel and left a message for me," Dr. Deacon guesses. "Mohamed showed up and forced you into a tomb?"

"Unfortunately. I tried to fight him off, but as you can tell he won. I wasn't about to argue with a man holding a gun."

"How did you make out with your contacts?" Jennifer asks.

"Well, they're going to pull a few strings and see what they can do. The lieutenant is well respected by the force, so we may not get much help."

"You mean to tell me even after what Jonathan and I just went through, Mohamed could still get away with what he did?" Jennifer asks, stunned.

"Be sure to tell your contacts I'll be paying the lieutenant a visit," Jonathan replies.

"I'll definitely tell them. After what happened to you, his behavior should not be tolerated. I know my friends will not look upon this lightly. I'm afraid I have more bad news."

"It appears to be our day for it," Jennifer remarks, shaking her head in disbelief. "What happened?"

"The police finally came forward to the press about the artifacts being stolen. It is making international headlines. Reporters have been hounding me for a statement. Your telephone has been ringing off of the hook."

"Did Shani give a comment?" Jennifer asks, anxiously.

"No, and the same goes for Mohamed as well."

The telephone rings.

"I better get that," Jonathan replies, reaching over to pick up the receiver. "That may be Max."

"Max?" Dr. Deacon asks.

"Yes, he's our butler, chauffeur, and friend," Jennifer says.

"Hello, Max," Jonathan replies.

Hart House

Max stands talking to Jonathan on the telephone on the bar.

"Mr. H, I'm glad I finally got ahold of you," Max says. "I've been worried to death about you and Mrs. H. I've been callin' you every few minutes. What's goin' on? I saw on the news about 'em relics being stolen."

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

"I'm sorry we worried you, Max. We were out," Jonathan replies on the other end of the line.

"You and Mrs. H must of had one of your interestin' experiences from the tone of your voice. Sounds like you're exhausted."

"Interesting isn't exactly the word I would use to describe our latest experience, but Mrs. H and I are ok."

Hart House

"I figured as much. I'm just thankful you both are safe."

"Mrs. H and I are just thankful we've got out of it alive. Not much progress we're making so far I'm afraid. I have talked to Frank. He is flying down on the company jet. He'll be here day after tomorrow. Jennifer and I have our suspicions on who is behind the artifacts being stolen, but we can't prove it. On top of that we're dealing with a police officer that could be related to General Patton. He threatened us."

"What?! Why would he do a thing like that?"

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

"Jennifer and I didn't exactly get on his good side. When we told him Mohamed could be behind the artifacts being stolen, he got hostile and basically told us to mind our own business. If we're not back in a couple of weeks, look for us in a jail here in Cairo."

"I'm sorry. I wish there was somethin' I could do for you and Mrs. H. I know how disappointed you must be knowin' the camera was destroyed."

"Thanks, Max, but Jennifer and I have found an ally in one of the archeologists involved in the expedition. We met Dr. Deacon at the opening. He has some contacts with the police here, and they're going to see what they can do to get Patton to be cooperative. What is going on over there?"

Hart House

"You'll never guess who showed up. Your old friend from the police department. Harry came over with your poker buddies and guess who beat the pants off of the lieutenant."

"You did. Tell Harry if we get back in time before his vacation time is up, I'll see if he can win his money back. Were there any calls?"

"I'll say. I bet our phone here has been ringin' off the hook as much as yours. I've been receivin' so many calls for you and Mrs. H. Everybody wants to know what is goin' on with you folks now that the word is out about relics being stolen. That reminds me that Dorothy Roberts called. She wanted me to let you know she was thinkin' of you, and she wanted me to thank you both again for payin' her a visit the other night."

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

"I'll let Jennifer know. We both need to rest and take it easy for the rest of the day. Goodbye, Max. Give our love to Freeway."

"Will do, Mr. H. You and Mrs. H take it easy. No more explorin' ancient tombs." Max hangs up the receiver.

"How did he know we were trapped in a tomb?" Jonathan wonders as he looks at the receiver before hanging up.

Hart House

Max walks over to the table. He starts picking up the cards and chips from the poker game that was played earlier. Freeway walks into the living room from the kitchen and barks.

"Oh, Freeway, I talked to your daddy," Max says, looking down at the dog. "He said to tell you that he and your mommy send their love."

Freeway barks and wags his tail.

"How should I know when they're goin' to be back? Do I look like a psychic?" Max asks.

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

"I think I had better be going," Dr. Deacon tells the Harts. "Are you sure you're ok?"

"We're fine, doctor. Thank you for coming to our rescue," Jennifer says.

"You're welcome."

"Did you telephone the police and tell them about the body we stumbled on while we were in the tomb?" Jonathan asks.

"Yes, I did. It must be traffic holding them up."

There is suddenly a loud pounding on the door of their suite.

"Hart! Open the door! This is the police!" the lieutenant orders, firmly.

"Well, if it isn't General Patton himself," Jennifer says.

"I wonder if his ears are burning," Jonathan remarks as Doctor Deacon goes to answer the door.

"Hart, I said open the door!" the lieutenant snaps just as the archeologist opens the door. The lieutenant is standing outside the door with several of his men. He is fuming with anger.

"Who are you?" he asks as they walk in.

"I'm Dr. Deacon. I'm an archeologist. I'm a friend of the Harts."

"You called us about the body they found?"

"Yes, I did, lieutenant. The Harts are in their bedroom."

"What is the matter with them? Too tired from interfering in a police investigation?" he asks sarcastically with a smug look on his face. He heads toward their bedroom followed by his men. Dr. Deacon shakes his head in disbelief as he shuts the door.

"Hart, what were you doing out at The Great Pyramids of Giza? And don't tell me you were just sightseeing with your wife!" the lieutenant yells as he bursts into their room.

"I wasn't going to say we were sightseeing," Jonathan replies as Dr. Deacon walks into the room.

"Jonathan received a note," Jennifer says as she starts to explain.

"I wasn't talking to you," the lieutenant snaps.

"Lieutenant, I think you owe Mrs. Hart an apology," Dr. Deacon says.

"Is that so? Who do you think you are giving me orders?" he asks, turning around to face him.

"I happen to have some friends with the police here in Cairo so I think it would be in your best interest to be cooperative and show some respect to the Harts."

"Are you threatening me, doctor?!" he asks, giving the archeologist a glare.

"No, I'm just informing you, lieutenant. You haven't been gracious to the Harts. If you weren't so hot tempered, you might notice the Harts have heatstroke."

"That is what happens when you go poking your nose where it doesn't belong and go wondering off into a tomb by yourself."

"We didn't go wondering off into the tomb. We were forced into there by Mohamed. He planned a trap for us," Jennifer explains.

"He held a gun to our backs. Mohamed sure knows how to fight back," Jonathan replies, referring to the bruises on his face.

"All right! Hold it right there! Mohamed is not a killer anymore than he is a thief! I warned you what would happen if you interfered in our investigation! I ought to throw the book at you and your wife now!" he exclaims.

"Now hold it right there," Dr. Deacon says, firmly. "You're not going to throw the book at Jonathan and Jennifer. They haven't done anything illegal. You should be more concerned about the dead man."

"I know how to do my job. We already know who the dead man is. He is the smuggler that we had been looking for."

"I figured that who he was. Doesn't it strike you as strange that the man responsible for stealing artifacts ends up dead and is found in a tomb that no one explores?" Jonathan asks.

"No, because this sort of things happens all the time with smugglers. He must have double crossed whoever he was involved with or his partner got greedy and decided to kill him. Now all we have to do is find the killer. And we'll do it without your help."

"Lieutenant, my contacts aren't impressed by your behavior towards our guests here. They are doing all they can to see to it you're willing to let them help you in the investigation. Once they hear about them being trapped in a tomb and the body, they're not going to like your attitude any better."

"Doctor, I don't appreciate your attitude toward me so you better watch it too. If you threaten me one more time, you'll be locked up along with your friends here. I will not tolerate anymore interference. If I find out you have been doing anymore snooping, you and your wife will be put in custody." He gives Dr. Deacon a glare before storming toward the door.  The other officers follow the lieutenant on their way out. Jonathan and Jennifer along with the doctor hear the door slam.

"He is more difficult than I imagined," Dr. Deacon says, shocked. "But don't worry, Jonathan and Jennifer. I'm going to be on my way and see what I can do to speed up the process so you can investigate. After what you went through, you need the police working with you."

"Thank you, Dr. Deacon. Harts Industries appreciates your support and help," Jonathan replies with a smile.

"The other archeologists and I appreciate your support and help as well. If there is anything more I can do, you know where to reach me."

"Thank you, doctor," Jennifer says as he walks out of the room.

"Well, this certainly has been a good day," Jonathan says, sarcastically.

Jennifer bursts out laughing.

"I didn't think my sarcastic remark was all that amusing, darling," Jonathan tells her, turning to her.

"No. I was just thinking how going undercover at that health farm is nothing like what we're going through."

"And that's funny how?" Jonathan asks, confused.

"No, what is funny is how we went undercover."

"Oh, yes," Jonathan replies with a smile. "When we checked in, we gave everyone the impression we couldn't stand each other."

"Yes, you acted out the role perfectly with all your charisma and charm."

"You did very well yourself. If I didn't know we were putting on an act... even I would have thought you hated me."

Jennifer smiles as she and Jonathan's mind wonders back to when they checked in undercover at The Golden Goose.

Jonathan and Jennifer's mind returns to the present as they both laugh out loud after traveling down memory lane.

"My safe driving award," Jennifer says with a smile. "Oh, Jonathan, you certainly were on top of your game with some of your comments to me."

"So you were you." "It must have been painful for you to handle a yo-yo," Jonathan remarks with a smile.

"We certainly had some good times during some of our cases," Jennifer remembers fondly.

"I think the part that was the most fun was the chase on our way to the health farm."

"Yes. I don't think that highway cop would agree with you though," Jennifer says with a chuckle.

"You're right. I wonder if he ever could remember our name. Bart," Jonathan replies with a chuckle.

The Egyptian Museum That Night

Mohamed comes walking out of his office late that night. He shuts the door. Just as he heads on his way out of the museum,  all of a sudden several men come behind him. One of them has a gun and points it at his back.

"All right, Mohamed. We know you killed Crawford. Now you're going to pay the piper for killing him," one of the men says.

"I don't have any idea what you're talking about. Why would I want to kill him? We were in this theft together."

"Perhaps because you were using him or you just didn't want to hand over the money you owe us. The police didn't find any money on his body so you must have it. He was going to meet you to get it."

"How do you think it would look if they found my body? Don't you think the police would put it together? First the guard was killed and then Crawford. If they find me killed too, then it wouldn't be too long before they'll be paying you a visit."

"I'm afraid he is right," the man with the gun states.

"Don't forget the Harts have access to all the cameras. One of his men at Hart Industries is on his way over now to examine a camera he has at The Fairmont."

"You're wasting your time," the other man says. "We know all about Jonathan and Jennifer Hart. Do you think we live on another planet and don't pay any attention to what is going on in the world?"

"If Jonathan Hart catches on to us, we'll be facing life," Mohamed says, getting nervous now with the gun behind his back."I'll do anything you say if you just leave me alone."

The man nods his head at the other accomplice. He nods his head and puts the gun down.

Mohamed sighs in relief. The man faces Mohamed and shoves him into the wall.

"All right, we'll give you a chance, but you're going to do exactly what we say or you'll be joining Crawford!" he says, sternly. "Do you understand me? We're not playing games!"

Mohamed nods his head nervously and begins shaking in fear of his life.

"Good. Now where is the money?"

"It is in my desk in the middle drawer," Mohamed replies, stuttering.

"Get it! If you try to make a run for it, you're good as dead!"

Mohamed looks at all the men nervously, terrified and wondering how he is going to get out of the hole he dug himself into.

Cairo International Airport Two Days Later

Jonathan and Jennifer stand at the gate early that afternoon as they wait for Frank to land in one of Hart Industries' company jets.  Passengers are either getting ready to board their planes or arriving after their flights. As the wait, they hear flights being announced to board. Just then a private jet comes into view and gets ready to land.

"There's Frank now," Jonathan says.

"He must be tired after that long flight. Shouldn't we take him back to the hotel to rest first?"

"No, that won't be necessary, darling. When he called me last night to let us know what time he would be landing, he told me he slept on the plane. He is just as anxious as we are to get a look at that camera."

"After our narrow escape the other day, I am more than anxious than ever to learn if we can see anything on that tape."

"So am I," Jonathan replies.

Just then Frank walks into the airport with his luggage and looks around for the Harts.

"Frank, over here!" Jonathan shouts as he waves to his employee.

Frank notices where Jonathan and Jennifer are standing and walks over to them.

"Mr. Hart, I got here just as soon as I could. I'm sorry something went wrong with the cameras."

"It's no one's fault, Frank," Jonathan tells him. "It was just an unfortunate incident. Let's just focus on that tape for the moment."

"I'm ready."

"Let's get you through security and customs," Jonathan says as they head out of the gate. "We have a car waiting for us out front."

"Frank, how are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while," Jennifer says.

"I am doing fine, Mrs. Hart. Thank you! I'm sorry your holiday didn't turn out like you planned."

"Thank you, but Jonathan and I are used to things not working out like we planned," Jennifer replies.

"The phone has been ringing off the hook at Hart Industries. Miss Waring has been swamped with calls from the press."

"It hasn't exactly been peace and quiet at our hotel for us either," Jonathan replies. "Even Max is getting swamped with telephone calls."

"The press have no respect for anyone's privacy," Frank comments. "No disrespect to you, Mrs. Hart," he says, turning to Jennifer.

"That's all right. I knew you weren't referring to me. I have to agree with you. Unfortunately, that is part of their job is hounding people especially when a big story like ancient artifacts being stolen comes along."

"Mr. Hart and Mrs. Hart, are you all right? You look like you got sunburned," Frank says after noticing the red on their cheeks.

"We're fine. We got into a predicament the other day, but we managed to get out of it like always," Jennifer replies with a smile.

"How are things going with the police?"

"Not good. We're friends with an archeologist we met at the opening, Dr. Deacon. He has contacts with the police here, but they can't do anything to get the lieutenant to be cooperative," Jonathan replies.

"Looks like this case is getting to be a tough one for you to solve."

"Tell us something we don't know," Jennifer remarks.

As the Harts continue talking with Frank and heading toward security and customs, they pass a man who has his head buried in the newspaper. The man puts down the paper once they are out of his sight. It is none other than Mohamed himself! He puts the paper under his arm and walks over to a pay phone. He takes out his wallet and takes out some change. He inserts them into the slot and dials a number. After waiting a few moments, his called is answered.

"This is Mohamed. The Harts have just left the gate with his employee and heading on their way to security and customs. You can put the plan into action now. Yes, I'll meet you afterwards? Where?"

Fairmont Nile City Hotel

Jonathan and Jennifer along with Frank get off an elevator on their floor of the hotel after arriving at The Fairmont. They head toward their suite as Jonathan takes out their key. He opens the door, and they walk in. To their shock and bewilderment, the entire suite is in total darkness.

"Darling, did you turn the light off?" Jonathan asks as he shuts the door.

"No, I didn't," Jennifer replies. "What is going on?"

All of a sudden a figure comes in the room.

"Who are you? What are you doing in our suite?" Jonathan yells out. "Mohamed, is that you?"

Without warning, the figure approaches them. He knocks Jonathan, Jennifer, and Frank out cold with a monkey wrench. He steps over them and heads toward the door. He quietly opens it, steps out into the corridor, and shuts the door.

As Jonathan, Jennifer, and Frank lay on the floor unconscious with their head bleeding a little due to the heavy blow, the telephone rings. The phone continues to ring as they lay on the floor motionless.

Finally Jonathan, Jennifer, and Frank slowly regain consciousness. They touch the top of their heads as they feel the pain.

"Are you all right?" Jonathan asks as they lift themselves off of their feet.

"I'm fine," Jennifer replies. "Only my head aches."

"My head aches as well," Frank responds. "I wonder what we got knocked out with."

"I don't know," Jonathan replies as he walks over to turn on a lamp. "But whatever it was, I doubt it was something here in our suite unless they helped themselves to a hair dryer."

Once turning the lamp on, Jennifer notices that Jonathan is bleeding.

"Jonathan, you're bleeding!" Jennifer exclaims frightened, walking over to her husband.

"So are you, darling," Jonathan replies, noticing the blood on his wife's head. "Are you sure you're all right?" he asks, troubled.

"Yes, I feel fine, but I am more concerned about you and Frank at the moment."

"I'm all right except for this headache."

"The same goes for me, Mrs. Hart," Frank replies. "I'll get us some washcloths," he tells them as he heads toward a bathroom.

Jennifer just happens to glance over at a table and notice the camera is gone.

"Oh no!" Jennifer exclaims.

"What is it?" Jonathan asks. He turns around and notices the camera is gone. "So that is why we were knocked out."

"That was the only way we had of finding out who was behind the theft," Jennifer replies with disappointment.

"It is time to pay the police a visit ourselves and start investigating," Jonathan says as he places his hands on his hips.

"If they don't let allow us to investigate, we'll have to do it anyway," Jennifer remarks. "We don't have a choice now," she finishes saying just as Frank walks in with the washcloths.

"What happened?" Frank asks as he hands them a washcloth before placing one on his own head to apply the pressure and stop the bleeding.

"They took the camera," Jonathan tells him as Frank sits down.

"Now what are we going to do?" he asks as the Harts sit down and apply pressure to their own heads and stop the bleeding with their washcloths.

"We pay a visit to the police and start investigating on our own," Jonathan tells him. "If we don't do something soon, there's no telling what else is going to come our way." He and Jennifer look at each other with worry, wondering how they're going to catch Mohamed and his accomplices.

 A Police Station in Cairo

Jonathan and Jennifer sit in an office along with Frank in the police station as they wait on the lieutenant. The door opens, and he walks in.

"Oh, great, it's Jonathan and Jennifer Hart," he mumbles to himself upon noticing them. He shuts the door. "Just what I need to make my day." He walks over to his desk and takes a seat. "What have you got for me? Another dead body?" he asks sarcastically.

"At the moment no, lieutenant," Jonathan replies, calmly. "What we have is a missing camera. It was stolen."

"Shame," he says. "Is that why you bothered to see me? Just over a stolen camera? Hart, that camera is your problem and your responsibility. I'm busy with two homicides, and theft of ancient artifacts."

"You may have more to be occupied with if you don't start being cooperative. My wife and I along with my employee here, Frank, were knocked out in our suite when we got back from the airport."

"Did you see who did it?"

"No, we didn't," Jennifer informs him. "When we walked in, the suite was dark. We couldn't see a thing."

"I'll look into it," he replies, unfazed.

"What do you mean you'll look into it?"

"Just what I said, Mrs. Hart, I'll look into it. Now be on your way and let me get on with my investigation."

Jonathan and Jennifer give each other a look of annoyance as they rise from their seats along with Frank.

"Thank you so much for your cooperation," Jennifer remarks, sarcastically as Jonathan holds open the door. The lieutenant gives her a glare. They walk out of the office, and Jonathan shuts the door.

"Is he always this rude?" Frank asks in astonishment.

"No, this is one of his better days," Jonathan replies.

"You should have seen him the other day," Jennifer comments. "With the way he was pounding on our door, I thought he was going to break it down."

Just then Dr. Deacon walks in and notices them. He walks over.

"Good afternoon, Dr. Deacon," Jennifer greets him.

"Good afternoon. I telephoned your hotel. When I didn't receive an answer, I figured you might be here."

"Yes, you must have phoned right after we had been knocked out," Jonathan replies.

"You were knocked out?!!" Dr. Deacon exclaims in shock. "Did you see who hit you?"

"Unfortunately no," Jennifer says. "I'm afraid we have even more bad news. The camera was stolen from our suite."

"What did the lieutenant say?"

"He said he would look into it, but knowing him, I doubt telling him did as much good as trying to convince him Mohamed could be behind the theft and murder of the guard," Jonathan tells the archeologist.

"I'm sorry my contacts couldn't be of any help. Let me talk to the lieutenant."

Dr. Deacon walks over to the door and knocks.

"Go away," the lieutenant snaps.

Dr. Deacon opens the door and goes in followed by the Harts and Frank.

"Now you," the lieutenant says with annoyance. "Don't you have some tombs you could be exploring instead of bothering the police?"

"You're not taking the matter of the Harts being knocked out and the camera stolen seriously, lieutenant. My contacts may not have been able to get you to be cooperative, but if I have to I will go to a higher authority."

"If you want to waste your time, be my guest. Now I have two homicides to solve and artifacts to recover so why don't you take the Harts and their friend with you?"

"Lieutenant, unless you want Jonathan and Jennifer Hart to be in further danger, you need to stop being such a hardhead."

"I have a solution for that, doctor. Get them on a plane and send them back to the states. The police have gotten along fine without interference from locals or tourists. We can just as easily continue to do so."

"It is your responsibility to protect the tourists!" Dr. Deacon exclaims, sternly.

"Look!" the lieutenant exclaims, getting angry. He rises from his seat. "Tourists don't get involved in an investigation or stumble onto bodies! Jonathan Hart's only responsibility is to be a consultant for security measures which he seems very capable of handling!"

"Lieutenant, if you could just let Jonathan have access to the rest of the cameras," Jennifer starts to say.

"All right! All right! If that what it takes to get you out of my hair, fine!" he shouts. He presses a button on the intercom and begins speaking in Arabic. "Now the rest of the cameras will be brought to your hotel in an hour. Satisfied?!" he shouts as he sits back down.

"No, but I guess that will have to do," Jonathan replies. "Come on, doctor. You tried."

"You're right, Jonathan. You can't deal with a hothead," Dr. Deacon agrees.

The Harts along with Frank and Dr. Deacon walk out of the office. Jonathan once again shuts the door.

"Out of all the stubborn and bullheaded policemen I have met, he is the worst," Dr. Deacon declares.

"Join the club," Jennifer says with a sigh. "Well, where do we go from here?"

"We do what is considered breaking and entering," Jonathan replies, quietly. "After the museum is closed, and Mohamed is gone, we find a way in through the back entrance. We'll see if we can find any evidence that points to Mohamed and his accomplices being behind the thefts."

"How are we going to do that with the guards out back?"

"I have a plan," Jonathan replies with a smile.

"I'm all ears," Jennifer says with a smile.

"I'll tell you out in the car. I don't want to risk us being overheard." The Harts walk out of the station with Dr. Deacon and Frank following them.

The Egyptian Museum That Night

Jonathan and Jennifer stand outside the museum away from the guards as they wait to put their plan into action.

"Jonathan, I don't know about this," Jennifer whispers.

"It is the only way, darling. Since those other cameras were too damaged to see what are on those tapes, this is the only way. Until Frank lands back in Los Angeles and can see if he can find a way to view them, this is our only hope."

"I just don't know if this idea of yours will work."

"We won't know until we try it. Now remember you're from Italy and don't speak a word of the language here."

"I know what I am supposed to do," Jennifer tells him.

"I just don't want this to backfire on us. Go to it and good luck," Jonathan tells her with a smile. He gives her a quick kiss.

"Thanks, I'll need it," Jennifer replies.  Coming out of hiding, Jennifer puts a handkerchief up to her eyes and starts crying as she acts out the performance of a lady in distress. She is dressed up as a beautiful, sexy Italian lady.

"Help, please help me!" Jennifer yells in tears and in Italian accent. "I'm lost! Please help me!"

Jonathan watches her from his hiding place. The guards rush to her and ask what is wrong and how they can help?

"I am lost. I don't know where I am. How do I get back to the hotel?" Jennifer asks.

"Where are you staying?"

"Let me see now," Jennifer replies as she acts as if she is trying to remember. "No, that's not it."

"What are you doing out here? This is a museum," the other guard says, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Oh? I don't remember. Too much to drink... I wandered up out here."

"No liquor is allowed to be sold," he replies. "Where did you get it?"

"Don't remember that either," Jennifer tells them.

Seeing the guards are too distracted by his wife, Jonathan quickly rushes out of his hiding place and hurries over to the back door. Using a nail file, he picks the lock as fast as possible. He quietly opens the door and goes in. He waves to Jennifer, signaling to her.

"Oh, never mind. I remember where hotel is. Grazie."

She starts to head away from them, but one of the officers grabs her by the hand.

"I think we better put you in a taxi to be sure you get back to your hotel safely."

"Uh, no. I can find by myself. Grazie."

"I'm afraid I'm going to have to insist," the other guard says, firmly.

Before Jennifer can react, Jonathan comes up to the guards. One by one he knocks them out cold with Karate moves before they can process what is happening. Jennifer looks down at them, speechless. Jonathan takes their guns from them and throws their weapons far away as possible.

"Come on, darling," Jonathan says, taking his wife's hand as they head to the back door leading into the museum.

"Sorry about that," Jennifer says, glancing over at the guards who lay motionless on the ground.

"Fortunately for us there wasn't an alarm," Jonathan tells his wife.

"Thank goodness!" Jennifer exclaims.

Taking the flashlight out of Jennifer's purse, Jonathan uses it so they can see inside. They go inside, and Jennifer quietly shuts the back door. Finding Mohamed's office, Jonathan picks the lock with the nail file. He opens the door, and they go in. Jennifer shuts the door behind them. Finding a lamp on the desk, Jonathan turns the flashlight off. He switches the lamp on. He places the nail file and flashlight on top of the desk. Jennifer places her purse on the desk. She and Jonathan proceed to look through the desk quickly as possible before the guards come through. So far they haven't found anything that could be a clue or evidence to point to Mohamed's guilt. Jonathan takes a seat in the chair as he opens the last drawer on the left side of the desk. By now Jennifer has finished looking through all of the drawers.

"I'm striking out," Jennifer says. "What about you?"

"I think I may have found something," Jonathan replies, noticing a bankbook. He picks it up and begins searching through with his wife glancing over his shoulder.

"Here we go," Jonathan says, finding a withdrawal from Mohamed's bank account only days ago.

"He made a withdrawal from the bank in the amount of twenty thousand dollars," Jennifer says in shock.

"Yes, and he withdrew the money from the bank the day one of his accomplices was killed," Jonathan states, upon seeing the date.

"Then whoever the accomplice was he must have showed up that night to get the money."

"Only he didn't get it because he was shot. The news didn't say anything about the police finding any money on his body so our friend, Mohamed, must have taken it from him before leaving his body in the tomb."

"I wonder what he did with the money. Do you think the other guards could have been in on it? How do you explain only one guard ended up being shot?" Jennifer wonders.

"That's a good question, darling. The same question has been going through my mind since Shani told us about the guard."

"I wish we could turn this over to the police," Jennifer says in disappointment.

"I know, but Patton would have us arrested for breaking and entering and interfering in a police investigation."

"Correct on all counts, Hart," comes the lieutenant's voice. Jonathan and Jennifer stand frozen once turning to see the lieutenant and two of his men standing in the doorway."I will also be adding assault to those charges," he tells them with a cold glare.

"Have you been following us?" Jonathan asks.

"I didn't need to. I had a feeling that you and your wife couldn't resist interfering after I told you not to. Now I have better reasons for having you both locked up." He turns to one of the officers and starts speaking to him in Arabic.

"What is he saying?" Jonathan asks, turning to Jennifer as they both stare at each other with a worried look on their faces.

"Well, he isn't asking his men to show us back to our hotel. We're being arrested," Jennifer replies, anxiously.

"How did I know you were going to say that?" Jonathan asks as one of the officers approaches. He places the handcuffs on them. Jonathan and Jennifer are led away with the lieutenant behind them.  The lieutenant is carrying Jennifer's purse and nail file. Jonathan and Jennifer glance at each other nervously as they head toward the front entrance of the museum. They can't believe this is happening to them!

Once they reach the outside of the museum, they are led toward a waiting police vehicle.  The officer, holding them in custody, opens the back door. He forces the Harts into the backseat. Jonathan and Jennifer reluctantly get in. The officer shuts the door and heads toward the driver's side as a smiling lieutenant looks on in the window. He finally opens the passenger side of the vehicle and gets in. He shuts the door. The arresting officer starts the engine. The police car drives away as a guard, who is standing in front of the museum, watches from his post with a pair of binoculars. Once the car is out of sight, a grin comes upon his face. He turns to the other guards and says something in their native tongue. One of them holds the door open for him as he hurries inside. He runs toward Mohamed's office and goes in. He picks up the receiver and dials a number. After waiting a few seconds, his call is answered.

"Everything went as you suspected. Jonathan and Jennifer Hart broke into your office. That lieutenant friend of yours has them in custody as we speak. They had just left in his car. I thought you would be pleased, Mr. Mohamed."

He hangs up the receiver.

An Old Abandoned Building In Old Cairo

Mohamed smiles as he hangs up the receiver. Crawford's men stand beside him, having overheard the entire conversation. The building is filled with the stolen artifacts.

"The Harts have been arrested," he says, turning to the man who forced him to hand over the money.

"You have been lucky so far. Don't mess it up. If you do, you will end up dead," he says, sternly.

"I won't mess it up! You have my word! I don't want to end up like Crawford. But why are we doing this? By getting rid of the Harts, it won't stop us from going to jail if that employee of his in the research department can find something on those tapes that could identify us."

"He won't so stop worrying."

"How do you know?"

"Why do you think I stole that camera from the Harts' suite? I know for a fact that tape can incriminate us. I just didn't steal it to teach them a lesson. I know all about security cameras and how they operate. I checked the camera myself and saw us on the tape. When all of us were planning the heist, Crawford had one of the security guards check to see which camera could catch us on film. If that one weasel of a guard hadn't found out what was going on and couldn't be bought like the rest of them, than that would be been one less person to eliminate."

"What are you going to do with the Harts?" Mohamed asks.

"You'll find out soon enough," he replies with a smile. "Once we eliminate them and that ex employee of yours, we'll be smuggling the artifacts out of the country just like Crawford had planned. Sorry your plan of collecting the insurance and selling the artifacts on the black market didn't work out. You could have made a killing, but instead you help us sneak the King Tut treasures out of the country while we keep the money you owe us. Double crossing smugglers really isn't a smart idea. It can get you killed. Now go back to your home, and I'll get in touch with you in the morning."

Mohamed nods his head and starts to leave.

"Mohamed!" the man shouts.

Mohamed turns to face him. "Don't double cross us or you'll end up with a bullet in your head! By the way, thanks for the cash. This bundle you got out of your bank account will come in handy," he says in a menacing tone as he picks up the envelope containing the cash. Mohamed is fuming with anger as he storms out of the building.

A Jail In Cairo

Jonathan and Jennifer are lying in a jail cell as they are still wearing their handcuffs. They are wide awake. Jennifer is laying against Jonathan as they cuddle.

“This could only happen to us,” Jennifer says with a sigh. “Is there anywhere we can go without getting into trouble?”

“Only if we we end up shipwrecked on a deserted island I’m sure,” Jonathan replies, stroking her hair.

“Does us being in jail remind you of anything?”

“Mexico,” Jonathan replies. “That’s when we were trying to help a friend who was being blackmailed into running drugs.”

“Only now we’re in jail for breaking and entering, assault, and interfering in a police investigation. And all I wanted was to write a story about King Tut’s treasures and for us to have a holiday so we can spend time together.”

“Look at this way, darling, at least we’re having quality time together,”Jonathan tells her, giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Yes, and I couldn't think of anyone I would rather be sharing a jail cell with," Jennifer says with a smile, looking him in the eye. "I am just sorry our holiday hasn't turned out like we planned."

"Remember our wedding vows. For rich or poorer, for better or for worse, in sickness, and in health," Jonathan tells her, looking her in the eye.

"For murder or trouble till death do us part," Jennifer jokes.

"You know one of the reasons I love you, darling?" Jonathan asks, putting his head against hers.

"I think so, but tell me anyway," Jennifer replies, seductively.

"Your sense of humor," Jonathan says with a smile.

"Tell me more," Jennifer tells him as she give him a wink.

Jonathan grins and begins whispering in her ear. As he continues whispering, she chuckles. Jennifer leans over and kisses him. They close their eyes and lock into a passionate kiss.

They are interrupted by an older man in the next cell, speaking to Jennifer in Arabic, as he watches them through the bars.

"What did he say?" Jonathan asks looking at the other prisoner.

"He wants to know if I have a friend for him," Jennifer replies with a laugh. She responds back in the same language. He frowns and goes back to sleep.

"What did you tell him?" Jonathan asks with a sly smile.

"I told him I don't have any friends that are his type," Jennifer replies with a sly smile as well.

"Is this hunk you're laying against your type?" Jonathan asks, seductively.

"If he wasn't, I wouldn't be married to him," Jennifer replies, seductively. They once again end up in a passionate kiss. After a few moments, they are interrupted by someone clearing their throat. It is Dr. Deacon standing in front of their jail cell.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your romantic moment," Dr. Deacon says, embarrassed.

Jonathan and Jennifer stare at each other before bursting out laughing. The archeologist looks at them, confused.

"Don't worry about it, doctor. It is not the first time we were caught kissing out in the open," Jonathan replies with a smile.

"I'm glad to see you," Jennifer replies, turning to face the archeologist. "Did you bring a nail file with you?"

"That won't be necessary," Dr. Deacon answers with a smile. "I got a court order to release you."

"That is a relief," Jonathan remarks. "How is Patton taking it?"

"He is furious. I have a feeling he'll be waking up the judge tomorrow to complain. My contacts were able to get you out on claim of false arrest."

"Well, Jonathan did knock the guards out," Jennifer says, feeling guilty.

"Considering he was woken up at one in the morning and the guards weren't hurt, the judge was willing to overlook it."

"I'll send them an apology note before we leave the country," Jonathan tells him as they rise.

"That eases my conscience," Jennifer says.

"Guard!" Dr. Deacon yells.

An older Egyptian woman comes over with the key and unlocks the prison door. She walks in and takes the handcuffs off of the Harts.

"Thank you," Jennifer says. "I know the first thing I'm going to do when we get home," she remarks as she and Jonathan walk out of the cell while the guard holds the door open for them. The guard walks away.

"Burn your passport?" Jonathan asks in a teasing tone.

"No, I'm going to put a hairpin in my purse to start carrying. I thought we would never get out."

"How about I take you back to your hotel?" Dr. Deacon asks as they walk out after retrieving Jennifer's purse.

"Thanks, but we've bothered you enough," Jonathan replies as they reach the sidewalk.

"Yes, Jonathan woke you up to get us out of jail. At least we can do for you is let you go straight back to your hotel and get some rest."

"I am tired. It has been a long and hectic day. I'll call you in the morning. Get some sleep," Dr. Deacon says with a smile as he heads toward a taxi waiting on him.

"Hectic and long day is right," Jennifer tells her husband as she turns to face him. She puts her hand over her mouth as she yawns. "I am exhausted. Let's sleep in tomorrow and catch up on our rest."

"After today, we definitely need it," Jonathan agrees. "Let's hope we can find a taxi."

Jonathan and Jennifer walk over to the corner of the street and begin searching for a taxi to take them back to their hotel. A car parked across the street notices them. The driver puts on their lights and heads over to their direction. It pulls up in front. The back door opens, and the accomplice, who took Mohamed by surprise with a gun the night before, gets out of the backseat.

"Can we give you a lift?" he asks.

"Thanks, but we prefer to get our own transportation," Jonathan replies, eyeing the man suspiciously.

"Does this change your mind?" he asks with an evil grin, showing the Harts he has a gun in his pocket.

"Well, we wouldn't want you to put you to all that trouble. But since you insist, I don't think we can refuse your invitation."

"Smart man. Now get in!" he orders, giving the Harts a harsh look. Jonathan and Jennifer glance at each other, nervously. Reluctantly they get into the back of the vehicle as the man stands aside. Once they are in, he gets in, and shuts the door. He yells to the driver in Arabic, and they drive away. He takes out the gun and points it at the Harts. They look at the gun and up ahead of them in the front seat. Another accomplice is sitting upfront next to the driver holding a gun at them as well.

"I hope you have a permit for those guns," Jonathan remarks.

"I don't suppose you would care to stop by at our hotel first so we can change? We're staying at The Fairmont."

The men look at Jennifer with a cold glare.

"I didn't think so," Jennifer says with disappointment.

"Aren't you going to introduce yourself and your friends up front?" Jonathan asks as he points to the driver and the other man holding the gun at them.

Silence follows.

"Could you at least tell us where you're taking us?" Jonathan asks.

"Yes, are we dressed right for the occasion?"

"I'll tell you what. If you let myself and my wife go, we'll just forget the whole incident. I'll even double what you're being paid. What do you say?"

"Besides my husband and I are very exhausted so I don't think he would enjoy our company at this hour," Jennifer says.

"SHUT UP!" the man, sitting next to them orders.

"I guess we have our answer," Jonathan whispers to Jennifer as he turns to face her.

"You'll find out where you're going soon enough," the man up front tells them. "I suggest you just rest your eyes and enjoy the ride."

"That is very gracious of you."

Jonathan and Jennifer close their eyes and act as if they're sleeping. They lay their heads together.

The driver makes a turn. Jonathan and Jennifer continue to act as if they had drifted off to sleep. After a few more minutes, they reach a traffic light. The driver is forced to slam on the brakes.

"What in heaven's name did you stop for?!!!" the man next to the Harts asks, fuming with anger.

"Sorry, but it looks like we'll be stuck here for a while. There has been an accident from what I can tell," the driver informs him as the men look up ahead. Jonathan and Jennifer slowly open their eyes. Seeing their captors are distracted, Jonathan turns around and jumps on him, knocking the gun to the ground. Jennifer quickly picks it up as Jonathan and the man struggle. During this knock down and drag out fight, they fall to the ground.  Jennifer quietly gets out of the seat and takes the gun out of the other man's hand.

"Are you missing something?" Jennifer asks with a sly smile. The man turns around, shocked. He can't believe they have been outsmarted. He looks behind her and is furious to see Jonathan and his partner are engaging in a fight as they throw punches. Jennifer, still holding the weapon, turns around. She watches the fight, helplessly, with a worried expression.

"LET GO OF ME!!!" the man orders.

Jonathan throws an even bigger punch, his fist barely missing his eye. Jonathan is now gaining the upper hand as he overpowers his enemy. Their other captor starts to get out of the car to help his partner, but Jennifer happens to glance over in time and points the gun directly at his head.

"Going somewhere?" she asks.

Jonathan punches the man in the stomach, bringing the fight to an end. He opens the car door next to him, and shoves the man out onto the street.

"Now it's your turn to worry about transportation," Jonathan tells him. "I saw a taxi a few lanes back. Perhaps he'll be kind enough to give you and your partner a lift."

Now even more furious, the man quickly picks himself up and jumps on Jonathan, causing the fight to continue.

"Jonathan!" Jennifer exclaims, fearing for her husband's safety.

Now the man is gaining the upper hand in the fight.

"Now, Hart, unless you don't want Shani Hanania to end up dead after we kidnap her, I suggest you give up!" he orders, losing his temper.

Hearing Jennifer's friend's name, Jonathan lets go of him. Jonathan and Jennifer are both shocked at this new outcome.

"Shani?! What are you going to do with her?!" Jennifer asks horrified, fearing for her friend's life.

"The same thing our boss is going to do with you. Now hand my partner his gun back!" he orders as he picks up his gun. He shuts the door. Jonathan and the man are both bruised  badly. Without hesitation, Jennifer hands the other man his gun.

"Sit back down both of you NOW!!!" he shouts. Jonathan sits back down. Jennifer does the same. Jonathan and Jennifer both glance at each other, fearing for Shani's life and their own fate.

The cars up ahead begin to move, and the driver continues on driving toward their destination.  Jennifer buries her head on Jonathan's chest as tears come into her eyes which she struggles to hold back. They embrace each other. Jonathan frowns upon hearing that Shani is going to be kidnapped, and they are helpless to prevent it from happening. Jonathan kisses his wife on her head as the tears continue to fall from her eyes.

An Old Abandoned Building In Old Cairo

Mohamed and the other men are sitting around a table as they discuss some plans about shipping the artifacts out of the country. Soon the door opens, and the men that kidnapped the Harts, walk in with Jonathan and Jennifer ahead of them with the guns still pointed at them. They have their hands held up as instructed.

"Sir, we have the Harts," the man who forced Jonathan and Jennifer into their vehicle tells the man in charge.

"Good," he says as he and Mohamed turn around, facing them. "I see Jonathan Hart put up a good fight," he says, noticing the bruises. "It is a great pleasure to meet such a well-known businessman like myself."

Jonathan and Jennifer stare at him with pure hate and contempt.

"Did you enjoy your time in jail?" he asks the Harts who ignore him.

"Were you having us followed when we broke into your office, Mohamed?" Jonathan asks, turning to face him.

"No, but I didn't need to. All of the guards are working for us," Mohamed replies.

"Just incase you're wondering Mohamed was using us and the man behind the plan, Crawford. He was planning to collect the insurance and sell the artifacts on the black market. But after we figured out he must have killed Crawford, we persuaded him to help us smuggle them out of the country instead."

"Threatened is more like it," Mohamed says with disgust and annoyance.

"Shut up!"

"What are you going to do to Shani?" Jennifer asks.

"That is for us to know and for you to find out tomorrow morning. Now it is going to be a long night so I suggest you just relax. From your appearance, it appears you two could do with a good night's rest."

He turns to the other man and begins giving him instructions in Arabic. He pushes Jonathan and Jennifer into their own chairs side by side nearby. Mohamed takes some rope from the table and walks over to them. He yanks Jennifer's purse from her shoulder and hands it to the headman.

"Put your hands behind the chair and keep them there!" Mohamed orders.

Jonathan and Jennifer do as they are told. He bends down and begins tying their legs and hands to the chairs. Once he is through, he checks to make sure he tied them tight enough so they can't escape.  The Harts' captors continue to keep a close watch on them as they sit down and point their guns at them. Mohamed stands back and looks at the prisoners, keeping an eye on them for a few seconds.

"Done," he says without looking behind his partner.

"Let's continue going over our plan to smuggle the treasures out of here," he orders. Mohamed leaves the Harts alone and walks back. He and his partner continue discussing their plans quietly.

Jonathan and Jennifer watch what is going on as they try to make out what is being said. They are curious to know how the men are going to carry out their plan. Feeling themselves getting drowsy and knowing they need to get their rest, they find themselves drifting off to sleep.

Fairmont Nile City Hotel Next Morning Late

The desk clerk is ringing the Harts' suite, but is failing to get a response. "I'm sorry, Dr. Deacon, but I am not getting an answer."

"Do you know if they came back last night?" Dr. Deacon asks, frantically on the other end of the line.

"No, I can't say. I was off duty. Hold on a moment, sir. I'll see if the manager noticed what time they came in," she says. She puts the receiver down and calls to an older Egyptian man who runs the hotel. He is talking to a guest. He excuses himself and walks over.

"What is it? Is there a problem?"

"I don't know, sir. There is an archeologist, Dr. Deacon, trying to get in touch with our guests, Jonathan and Jennifer Hart. I've been ringing their room twice in the past couple of hours."

"I did not see them come back last night," the manager informs her. "Is something wrong?"

"I don't know. Yes, I am still here," she says to Dr. Deacon on the receiver. "I'm afraid our manager did not seem them come in."

Le Meridien Hotel

Dr. Deacon stands overlooking the view from his hotel room as he talks to the desk clerk.

"Has anyone called them or left any messages?

"Let me look."

After a few seconds, her voice comes back on the other end of the line.

"No, sir. No one has called or left any messages for the Harts. Do you want me to leave a message if they come in?"

"Yes, tell them to call me back at my hotel. They know where I am staying."

"Yes, sir. Have a good day."

Dr. Deacon hangs up the receiver. He picks up a fresh cup of coffee as he sits down. He wonders if Jonathan and Jennifer are in any serious trouble or danger. Was he worrying over nothing? Could it be they were just resting and ignoring any telephone calls? If that were the case, wouldn't they have taken the receiver off of the hook or told the desk clerk they didn't want to be disturbed? They had a very hectic day.

An Old Abandoned Building In Old Cairo

Jonathan and Jennifer are just waking up after hours of sleeping. Their hands and feet are still tied up. They suddenly hear a commotion coming from outside. Jonathan and Jennifer look at each other, wondering what is going on now. Suddenly the door opens, and the man, who forced them into the car last night, is holding his gun on someone as they enter the building. The Harts are too far away to tell who it is, but from what they can make out it is a woman that is being held captive. As they reach where they are being held prisoner, Jonathan and Jennifer see it is Shani!

"Shani!" Jennifer exclaims in shock at seeing her friend.

"Jennifer, Jonathan!!!" Shani exclaims in shock, horrified at seeing them tied up. "Are you all right?" she asks, noticing the bruises on Jonathan's face.

"We're all right," Jennifer replies. "Did he hurt you?"

"No, he just grabbed me, and forced me into the car at gunpoint. What is going on?"

"Other than knowing they're going to ship the treasures out of the country, we're not sure," Jonathan tells her, thinking it best not to mention the fact their lives appear to be in danger.

"You'll find out soon enough, Mrs. Hanania," the headman says, walking over to them. "We'll be sneaking the King Tut treasures out of here in a couple of hours. Until then you can just relax. No harm will come to you until the artifacts are safely out of the country."

"You're planning to kill us?!!!" Shani exclaims, fearing for their lives.

"Since Jonathan and Jennifer Hart are putting our venture at risk by trying to expose us, we have no choice. We can't take any chances. Since you are a good friend of Mrs. Hart, it wouldn't be too long before you figured it all out. The guards are planning to skip the country along with the relics. The only people who are going to come out of this alive is us. We have been held up long enough. If Mohamed wasn't stupid enough to kill our boss, Crawford, and then to top it off try to bury your friends alive in a tomb where he hid the body, we would have been long gone by now. We have anxious customers waiting so we can't stay in Egypt  any longer."

"How are you going to get out of the country?" Jonathan asks. "The lieutenant knows you and your men had been seen here in Cairo."

"Yes, he has men out looking for you," Jennifer points out.

"With the way we're planning to smuggle the artifacts, it won't be any trouble. The treasures will be out on the Nile by sometime early this evening."

"The lieutenant has seen the guards around the museum though," Jennifer reminds them, wondering how they were planning to pull off their scheme.

"And wouldn't it look strange if he happened to stop by and notice them missing?" Jonathan asks.

"There'll be guards around the museum in their place."

"You can't get away with this!" Shani insists with the gun still pointed at her. "Everyone knows that the artifacts have been stolen! They're not going to let anyone leave this country without checking everyone and everything thoroughly!"

"Thank you for keeping us informed, my dear, but we're not amateurs when it comes to smuggling. I am good friends with a captain and his men of a boat that cruises the Nile. The treasures will be transported below deck where no one will ever see them. I am paying them a fortune. The authorities will never suspect because this is the first time I am using a ship for smuggling. The captain and his crew have a clean record. No one will ever think they could be capable of committing such a crime."

"How are you going to get the artifacts out of here though? You plan on using a furniture truck?" Jennifer asks sarcastically.

"If only it were that simple."

"You can't get away with this!" Shani exclaims, losing her temper. "Once we're found missing, the police will be after you!"

Jonathan and Jennifer look at the headman, afraid for what he is going to do to Shani after her outburst. He gives her a glare. After a few seconds, he smacks her hard across the face. The Harts give each other a look of fear. Shani bursts into tears. The man turns to the man, holding the gun, and raises his voice in Arabic. He replies back in the same language before forcing Shani, who is still in tears, over to a chair next to Jennifer. She feels his tight grip on her arm.

"SIT DOWN!!!" he yells.

Immediately, Shani sits down, terrified for her life. Her heart breaking for her friend, Jennifer wishes, she could reach over and lay a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Put your hands and feet behind the chair and keep them there!" he orders, harshly. Shani does as she is told. She begins trembling. The headman walks over with a piece of rope and begins tying her feet and hands up. She feels the rope being tightened which makes it hard to breathe. Once he is done tying his new prisoner up, he checks to be sure she is tied up enough that she can't escape.

"You open your mouth again, you'll be finding yourself having a gag in it," he tells her, giving her a cold glare, disgusted with her. Shani nods. After continuing to give her a cold stare for a few moments, he walks away. His partner stands across from them, continuing to keep a close watch on them with his gun.

"Don't worry, Shani. We'll get out of here," Jonathan says almost in a whisper, turning to face her. "Just do as they tell you, and you won't be hurt."

"Jonathan is right," Jennifer says, gently. "You don't mess with kidnappers. I should know. I was once kidnapped before myself."

"You were kidnapped?!" Shani asks in shock, turning to her. "Why? Ransom money?"

"They wanted money all right, but they thought I was someone else," Jennifer tells her.

"I don't understand. It was a case of mistaken identity?"

"You see, Jennifer and I were exercising on our bicycles one morning when she was grabbed," Jonathan explains.

"It turned out to our surprise that I had a double who lived near us. She happened to be out on her bike the same time Jonathan and I were that morning."

"If you were together, how did they manage to nab you?"

"We agreed to race each other to see who could get to the park faster for an ice cream. Only I told Jonathan to give me a thirty second head start."

"While Jonathan was still behind you, the kidnappers saw you and forced you into their car with them?"

"Yes, they almost ran me down trying to catch up to me. I thought they were just careless drivers."

"Didn't you explain to them who you really were?"

"Constantly, but they still believed I was the other lady, Dominique. This Dominique was the wife of a man named Marty Benton."

"The men who mistook Jennifer for Dominique were ex partners of Marty. He had double crossed them when they committed some kind of crime together. Benton let them take the rap while he got off scot-free," Jonathan finishes explaining.

"I can figure out the rest. In order to get the money they felt Benton owed them, they decided to kidnap his wife so they could get their hands on it. Only they grabbed you instead of Dominique."

"Unfortunately," Jennifer says with a sigh.

"How did you ever escape?"

"Well, this gossip columnist found out from someone I know at the police department about Jennifer's disappearance," Jonathan replies.

"The next day my picture was printed in the newspaper along with a story about me being kidnapped. Once they found out I was the wife of a wealthy industrialist, they saw a chance to get their hands on even more cash."

"Jonathan, you must have been a nervous wreck," Shani says in utter shock.

"I was. Anyway, I went over to Benton's house. I told him about Jennifer being kidnapped. I suspected since twenty four hours had gone by, and I hadn't received a call for ransom that the kidnappers must have mistaken Jennifer for someone else. I remembered seeing Dominique getting into her limousine with Benton that morning. I even mistook her for Jennifer myself after she didn't show up at the park. I couldn't believe how much Dominique resembled Jennifer.  Benton refused to give in and admit he had gotten a call from one of his ex partners. Dominique was there when I confronted her husband. She came to our house and told me about the phone call her husband had gotten from someone he called, "Banana Brain." I figured the only way to get Jennifer back was to make the kidnappers think they actually had Dominique. She agreed to go along with my plan. I called up the gossip columnist I had refused to talk to earlier to set up an interview at a restaurant that night."

"Only Jonathan didn't know Dominique had a thing for him," Jennifer comments.

"She took the role too seriously. Before I knew it, I had to kiss her. A photographer was nearby. He took the picture. After Benton saw it the next day, he came over to the house. Dominique had spent the night in the guesthouse. He was furious and demanded to know what was going on. I managed to convince him to go along with the charade. He set up a meeting with his ex partners, Mike and Barney, to exchange Jennifer for the money."

"And Dominique and you came along," Shani guesses.

"Not just us. Max came along too."

"Jennifer, you must have been scared to death."

"I was, but not like I was when Jonathan had been taken hostage while we were in Paris. I actually lived in fear of losing him."

"Jennifer and I along with Max had been held hostage in our own home three other times since then."

"The last time was when Jonathan and I had been away at our ranch when we came home unexpectedly. That was in May."

"From the moment we walked in the door, I should have known something was not right when Max didn't answer the door."

"I think out of all the times we had been held hostage in our own home that one was interesting to say the least," Jennifer comments in disbelief.

"Why?" Shani asks with curiosity.

"Our home had been taken over by some shady characters. Their scheme was to rob an international jewelry salesman of a necklace worth millions. Jennifer and I showing up when we did messed up their plan," Jonathan replies.

"I don't understand."

"The most unbelievable thing is the man behind the plan, Matthew Grade, had hired some look-alikes to trick the guests, that had been invited without our invitation, into believing they were us," Jennifer explains, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Max had been taken hostage before we showed up. We didn't want to risk putting his life and our own in danger so we went along with their crazy scheme."

"The only problem was what to do when the real look-alikes showed up."

"You two seem to have a way of finding trouble wherever you go," Shani replies, astonished.

"That appears to be the story of our lives," Jennifer says.

"So if we managed to get ourselves out of those predicaments, we can get ourselves out of this one," Jonathan tells Shani.

"Do you have a plan?" Shani asks.

"Not at the moment," Jonathan confesses.

"If you're plotting to get out of here, just forget it!" the accomplice tells them, harshly.

"We weren't plotting to get out of here, were we?" Jonathan asks, turning to the women.

"No, we weren't plotting at all," Jennifer replies. "As a matter of fact, we were just sharing our adventures of being held hostage before. The last one was back in May."

"SHUT UP! I don't care to hear what you have to say!" the man says, impatiently.

"Well, I thought our stories were interesting, but if you don't care to hear them, that's fine by us. Isn't it, darling?" Jennifer asks, turning to Jonathan.

"Yes, fine with me by all means," Jonathan replies. "You'll have to forgive Jennifer. She just loves to tell about our adventures. That's how women are particularly wives."

"All of you are giving me a migraine," the man says with annoyance.

"I'm sorry. Too bad we don't have any aspirin on us," Jennifer tells him.

"I can deal without your sarcasm,  lady! All three of you can talk among yourselves as long as you talk so I can hear every word you're saying! Otherwise all three of you will have a gag in your mouth!"

"That sounds very reasonable," Jonathan replies.

"Everything going well with our prisoners?" the headman asks as he walks over to them.

"Other than giving me a headache talking among themselves about their adventures, everything is going well."

"Let them talk among themselves. It'll make it easier to keep them out of trouble if you can hear with they're saying."

"Sir, when are Mohamed and the guards coming over?"

"Any minute now," he replies, glancing at his wristwatch. "Everything is going according to schedule. Just as soon we pack King Tut's treasures, we'll be taking care of you three," the headman says in a menacing tone. "You'll die from a gunshot wound, and your bodies will be dumped in the Nile along with the fish."

He gives them a smile and look of satisfaction before walking away. Jonathan and Jennifer stare at each other, nervously. Shani breaks down in tears.

A Street In Cairo

Dr. Deacon is riding in a police car along with the lieutenant speeding down in a street along with several other police cars behind them.

"This had better not be a wild goose chase you're leading me on," the lieutenant tells him in a warning tone.

"Lieutenant, the only thing that should be on your mind right now is the Harts' safety," Dr. Deacon says, managing to compose himself. "How else do you explain Jonathan and Jennifer not showing up back at their hotel last night?"

"Did it ever occur to you, doctor, that maybe some sense was knocked into them last night after their arrest and they went back to the states where they belong?"

"No, because they wouldn't do that without calling me. I told them before I left them I would call them in the morning."

"The only reason I agreed to this was because you have some strong influence with the authorities here. One of your contacts has been breathing down my neck since last night. We don't even have any idea where they could be held captive."

"That is why I suggested we take off at once so we would have plenty of time to look. And my contacts do have an all points bulletin out on Jonathan and Jennifer. You have every man in your department out looking for them. They're looking everywhere they could be held prisoner."

"You don't have to remind me," the lieutenant snaps as they make a turn. "Just telling you there are no guarantees we'll find them. If they haven't been killed by now. Did you try getting in touch with Shani since she is Mrs. Hart's friend?"

"I did. I couldn't get in touch with her either. That is other reason I have a bad feeling something is going on."

An Old Abandoned Building In Old Cairo

Mohamed and the guards along with the headman and his other accomplices are loading the artifacts into several large wooden crates. The other accomplice is still holding the gun while keeping an eye on Jonathan, Jennifer, and Shani. After loading each crate and covering them, several of the men carry the crates out back of the building through an open door. The Harts and Shani watch what is going on. Shani is outraged that the King Tut treasures are being smuggled out of Egypt and the curator that she has known and worked for years, Abasi  Mohamed, is in on the illegal act.   What she is seeing happening is so unbelievable! She turns her head to Jennifer.

"I'm so sorry, Jennifer, I didn't believe you when you tried to tell me of your suspicions," she says in tears.

"It doesn't matter now, Shani," Jennifer replies with a reassuring smile. "I'm just glad you're speaking to me again. I never wanted the stolen artifacts to come between us."

"I just can't believe this is happening!" Shani tells her. "I feel like this is a dream."

"You are breaking my heart!" the accomplice exclaims, mocking them. "Do I need to get you, Mrs. Hart, and your friend a handkerchief?"

Jonathan and Jennifer give him a look of disgust.

"We've finished loading King Tut's treasures," the headman tells them, triumphantly. "Just as soon we take a breather before we get out of this place for good, our guests will be taken care of."

"Have arrangements been made for their bodies to be taken care of?"

His question causes Jonathan, Jennifer, and Shani look at each other, feeling a chill come down their spine. The headman gives his partner a smile.

"Do you have any last requests?" he asks, turning to the Harts and Shani.

"Just one. Could we have access to a phone?" Jonathan asks sarcastically.

The headman laughs and walks over to Jonathan. He smacks him playfully on the arm.

"Good one, Hart! If you weren't an honest businessman, I'd ask you to join me in the smuggling racket."

"Thanks, but I don't really need the money," Jonathan comments.

"No, I guess you don't," he says, turning to look at Jennifer. He gives her a smile and winks before walking away.

"Why is it always the devious ones that come onto me?" Jennifer asks, turning to look at her husband.

"It must be your style that attracts them, darling," Jonathan replies.

"I am starving!" Shani exclaims, discouraged.

"So am I," Jennifer confesses. "Jonathan and I have been here since the early hours of the morning."

"Did you get any sleep?"

"Not much," Jonathan replies. "But sleeping in a chair isn't exactly what we are used to."

"I give anything to have one of Max's cooked breakfast for us right now," Jennifer says, craving for food.

"I'd settle just for Max's pancakes."

"That doesn't surprise me," Jennifer replies. "I can just smell the aroma as if we were in our own kitchen right now."

"You'd think they would have the decency to at least feed us," Shani says. "Even the condemned deserve a hearty meal."

"I agree with you," the headman informs them, walking over to them. "We have something for you to eat. It may not be to what you are accustomed to, Mr. and Mrs. Hart, but it will put something in those empty stomachs of yours."

"Don't worry about us," Jennifer replies. "Jonathan and I can be easy to please when it is necessary."

"Especially if it is not just bread and water," Jonathan remarks.

"I'm glad to see you and Mrs. Hart have a sense of humor. It'll help give you nourishment during  your last minutes."

Jonathan and Jennifer give each other a look. The man in charge turns to his partner and begins speaking in Arabic.

"Now what is he telling ole smiley face?" Jonathan whispers to his wife.

"He's ordering him to untie us so we can eat, but to continue to keep a close watch on us," Jennifer whispers back.

"I've got an idea," Jonathan says quietly as he watches the two men continue talking. "Follow my lead, but don't let them catch on."

Jennifer and Shani nod their head in agreement. The headman walks away as his partner walks over to them. He begins to untie the prisoners one by one: first Jonathan, Jennifer, and then Shani. They heave a sigh of relief at having the tight rope being released from their hands and legs.

"Follow me, but don't try anything! First one who tries to pull a stunt or get away, will be the first to go!" he says giving them a look, that shows he means what he is saying.

They rise from their seats and follow their captor toward a table in the back where Mohamed, the guards, and the rest of the criminals are eating.  Just as they make their way toward the table, Jonathan acts like someone who is facing symptoms of a diabetic having seizures.

"Where am I?" Jonathan asks, pretending to be confused.

"Darling, you're here in a building in Cairo," Jennifer replies, playing along with the act. "Are you all right?"

Jonathan falls to the floor and closes his eyes, acting as if he has just lost consciousness.

"JONATHAN!!!" Jennifer yells in a panic and fear.

Hearing her cries, the men rush from the table and make their way over to a motionless Jonathan, lying on his back.

"Get him some help right now! Please! Jonathan is a diabetic!!!" Jennifer begs, tears streaming down her face. She rushes over to her husband and feels for his pulse.

"This has better not be a trick!" the man with the gun warns her.

"Shut up! Hart could be seriously injured," his boss tells him, his voice full of fright and panic.

"So what? You want them to die!!!"

"Not like that, you fool! And don't raise your voice to me!" He smacks his partner hard across the face.

"Please do something!" Jennifer yells looking up at them with a look of pleading and fear. "My husband barely has a pulse!"

"I'll check him out. Bring the car around in case we need to get him treatment," the man in charge tells his partner, firmly. The partner rolls his eyes, but heads to the front of the building to do as he was told.

"Has this sort of thing happened before?" he asks as he walks over to examine Jonathan's condition.

"Only when he hasn't eaten," Jennifer replies, her voice breaking.

Just as he bends down and starts to look over Jonathan, Jonathan unexpectedly opens his eyes and attacks him, knocking the gun to the ground. Jennifer and Shani immediately race into action against their captors.  They have their hands full, fighting off guards, and the accomplices while Jonathan continues fighting the leader. Just as the guards and the other men bring out their weapons, Jonathan instantly picks up the gun and aims it at them.

"You try to hurt my wife or her friend, he is good as dead," Jonathan warns them as he holds a tight grip on his enemy around the neck. "Throw me your guns and then keep your hands up!"

"Do as he says," their boss, pleads, struggling to breathe due to Jonathan's tight grip.

The men look at each other and reluctantly give in. They sigh in anger and throw their guns in Jonathan's direction. They keep their hands high up in the air.

"Darling, take the rest of the guns," Jonathan tells Jennifer. "You and Shani are welcome to handle smiley face."

"We'd be delighted to," Shani tells him with a smile as she and Jennifer walk over. Jennifer and Shani each pick up the rest of the guns. They walk toward the front of the building.

"Is there a telephone around here somewhere?" Jonathan asks.

"There's one on a table," Mohamed replies, pointing with his head at the table across from them reluctantly.

"As you can tell, I have my hands full, so why don't you just go over and make a telephone call to the police? Let that lieutenant friend of yours know that you are guilty of theft and smuggling."

"Would you like me to call that archeologist friend of yours?" Mohamed asks sarcastically as he walks over to the table.

"Not at the moment, but I may take you up on that offer," Jonathan replies with a smile.

Mohamed picks up the receiver and starts to dial the number of the police. Glancing over his shoulder, he sees Jonathan has his eye on the others. He continues dialing the number while he reaches over and unplugs the telephone cord with his other hand. Just then the partner walks in while Shani and Jennifer each stand on the opposite side of the door.

"Why don't you come join the party?" Jennifer asks with a sly smile as she and Shani come out from hiding as they point their guns at him. His eyes grow big and looks at them in shock!

"Come on," Shani orders him firmly, pushing him ahead of them. "Let's have you see what it is like when the shoe is on the other foot."

"What is taking so long to get through to the police?" Jonathan asks, suspiciously as Mohamed rips out the cord from the telephone. Turning the telephone around, he finds a hidden pistol. He grabs it.

"This, Hart!" Mohamed snaps as he aims the weapon at a shocked Jonathan just as Jennifer and Shani return with the partner.  They gasp in horror and shock!

"It's over, Mohamed," Jonathan tells him. "If you think you can win with only one gun, you're not as smart as I had given you credit for."

Without warning, Mohamed aims the gun at the headman's head.

"Mohamed, don't!" he begs.

Just as Mohamed pulls the trigger, nothing happens. Seeing no gunfire coming out of the weapon, he tries again to make a successful shot while pulling the trigger. Again no gunfire. A defeated Mohamed makes one last unsuccessful attempt to fire it.

"You need bullets in it in order for it the gun to fire," Jonathan remarks as a furious Mohamed hurls the gun against a wall.

Outraged, Mohamed tries to make a break for it by running toward the front of the building.

"Watch after him," Jonathan says as he starts to head after him. Just as he does, he releases his grip. This causes the headman to gain the upper hand as he grabs Jonathan by his pants, causing him to fall. The gun lands on the other side of the building, out of their reach. The guards and the rest of the henchmen use this outcome to their own advantage. Coming upon Jennifer and Shani like an angry mob, the women are forced to drop the guns as they engage in a fist fight while Jonathan and the headman engage in their own fist fight.

As Mohamed jumps in the driver seat of the vehicle out front, he turns on the engine. Only the car won't start. Looking over at the fuel gauge, he sees to his frustration and panic, that there is no gas. He sighs and hits the wheel with his fist.

Back inside the warehouse the fight is continuing. Jonathan delivers a final blow to the headman in the face, causing him to fall on his back. Just as Jonathan heads to get the gun that landed on the other side of the building, he is jumped on and they continue throwing punches. Jennifer and Shani are running around the building as they are being pursued. Jennifer and Shani are fast on their feet, running as fast as they can as they try to fight off the criminals surrounding them. As they are caught up to, Jennifer with all her might begins turning the crates and boxes around as much as possible to prevent herself from being able to be reached. Shani does the same. Finding a crowbar beside her, Jennifer picks it up. She raises the tool above her head. Seeing the weapon in her hand, the criminals take off.  Jennifer pushes the crates and boxes away so she can chase after them to see to it they don't get away.

"Jennifer!" Shani yells as her friend starts to take off.

Jennifer turns around to find her friend being attacked by a guard. Looking around to see if she can come to her friend's aid without using the tool, she finds an Egyptian statue made of gold in a small crate behind her. She reaches over and picks up the statue. She walks over to the guard from behind and taps him on the shoulder. Looking behind, he sees Jennifer holding the statue above his head.

"No! Don't use that! It's the Statuette of Amun!" he yells in a panic.

"Oh, why so it is," Jennifer says, turning the statue around to get a good look at it. "What could I have been thinking of using this priceless relic?" she asks with a smile. "It would be a shame to have to use this statue as a weapon."

Just as the guard turns around and is about to continue attacking Shani, Jennifer hits him hard in the head with it. The statue knocks him unconscious. Jennifer places the statue back where she found it. Seeing an empty sarcophagus behind them, Jennifer opens it.  She places the crowbar down. With Shani's help, they lift the guard off of his feet and place him inside the coffin. She leaves it partly open and picks up the crowbar.

"Have a nice nap," Jennifer says as she and Shani run off.

Jonathan is continuing his fist fight with the headman. He is now once again gaining the upper hand. He delivers one final blow to the headman, knocking him off his feet for good this time. By now he and Jonathan are both exhausted from their fight. Jonathan picks up the gun and points it at him. Just as the guards and the other accomplices come behind them, they pick up their guns.

"Tell them to drop their guns!" Jonathan orders him firmly, sensing their presence.

"Do what he says," the headman orders, exhausted and out of breath. "Do what he says. I can't take anymore."

The guards and accomplices drop the guns to the ground. Just then they hear a car engine from behind the building start. Jennifer and Shani rush to the back of the building. They reach the door in time to see Mohamed, taking off in the vehicle with the artifacts.

"He's getting away!" Shani exclaims in disappointment.

Looking around for any way to catch up to Mohamed and stop him from getting away with the stolen King Tut treasures, Jennifer sees to her good fortunate that a small forklift truck is beside her. Without wasting a moment, Jennifer rushes over to the truck and hops on. She places the crowbar beside her.

"Jennifer, what are you doing? You'll never stop him in that. You don't know how to work that truck!" Shani exclaims in shock.

"Just go tell Jonathan," Jennifer insists as she looks to see how to start the truck. Shani shakes her head in disbelief and runs off to tell Jonathan what is happening.

"Here goes nothing," Jennifer says, wondering what she is getting herself into, attempting to drive the forklift. She starts the truck using the key. Just as the truck heads on its way out of the building, there is a loud crash. Glancing over her shoulder quickly, without taking her eyes off of where she is going, she sees she has accidentally knocked over some shelves, causing the crates and boxes on them to come tumbling down. The truck heads out of the backdoor, breaking off the door along the way. Jonathan comes rushing up to the back of the building. He watches Jennifer riding off in the forklift onto a street.

"Jennifer!" Jonathan exclaims in shock and worry. Looking around for a means of transportation, he wonders if there is another forklift. After heading toward the front of the building, his eyes comes upon a forklift. Jonathan rushes over to the truck and hops on. He starts the truck using the key. The truck heads off toward the front of the building. He passes Shani pointing a gun on the criminals as they stand against a wall in a line, with their backs toward her and their hands on the wall. Shani witnesses Jonathan driving off in the forklift in shock.

"I sure hope Jonathan and Jennifer are not supposed to have a license for operating a forklift," she says in concern, watching him drive out of the building.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is on the road, chasing after Mohamed. She is causing chaos as she is driving.

"Why do I feel like I'm in a Doris Day movie?" Jennifer wonders out loud as she tries to figure out how to operate the truck properly while car horns blow and people shouting at her through their windows. The truck starts to swerve into another lane. Jennifer screams, managing to swerve back into her lane to avoid being hit just as a loud horn can be heard as the car passes her. The driver is shaking his head at her in disbelief and mumbling under his breath.

"I'm glad Egypt is not a good place to be wearing my high heels," Jennifer says to herself. As she continues driving the truck, she hears another car horn behind her.

"Go around me!" Jennifer yells as she motions to the impatient driver.

The driver goes around her and rolls down his window as he comes upon her.

"You're an idiot, lady!!!" the man, who is English, yells at her, looking like he could burst a blood vessel.

"I know!" Jennifer yells back.

He gives Jennifer a questionable look before rolling up his window and continuing to drive. Jennifer continues to annoy and enrage the rest of the drivers on the road for a few more minutes. Finally only a few feet away from her she sees to her luck, Mohamed up ahead of her. He happens to look over in his rear view mirror and notice Jennifer chasing him. He mumbles under his breath and increases his speed. Jennifer increases the speed of the truck. Hoping to lose her, Mohamed turns a corner. Jennifer does the same, but slowly and cautiously. They are heading toward the marketplace, Khan-El-khalili Bazaar.  Mohamed swerves into another lane.

"And I thought I was the only idiot on the road," Jennifer says in disbelief after what Mohamed just did.

They continue the chase until they come upon the marketplace. Once he reaches there, Mohamed brings the vehicle to a complete stop on the side of the road. He flings open the car door and shuts it before running off into the marketplace. Jennifer catches up to him and sees Mohamed running into the marketplace. She continues to pursue him. Once coming into Khan- El-khalili Bazaar, everyone is in a panic seeing her and rush to get out of the way. Jennifer hits the horn as a warning.

"Everyone get out of the way!" Jennifer shouts to the tourists, locals, and merchants.  She has no sooner gotten the words out of her mouth when the truck knocks everything over in sight as people are forced to take cover and get out of her path. Once she is out of the way, the sellers begin shaking their fist and yelling at her in Arabic.

"SORRY!!!" Jennifer yells over her shoulder.

The merchants shake their heads in disbelief and begin picking up their merchandise. All of a sudden Jonathan comes into the marketplace on his own forklift truck as he chases after Jennifer and Mohamed.

"Look out!" Jonathan yells before everyone can react to more chaos being caused around them. Just as the merchants pick up their merchandise, Jonathan knocks the goods out of their hands. Once again everyone takes cover and gets out of the path of havoc.

"SORRY!" Jonathan yells over his shoulder.

The merchants now shake their fist and yell at Jonathan.

"I'm glad Jennifer didn't get that far in teaching me the language," Jonathan thinks to himself  now that he is being yelled at.

Everyone in the marketplace comes out from hiding and begin gathering around. They are wondering what is going on and why the marketplace had become a popular place for disruption and disorder. The chase continues on as Mohamed runs, pushing, and shoving his way through the crowds as Jennifer and Jonathan catch up to him. As before everyone around is forced to get out of the way and go into hiding as things are being thrown about. Jonathan is catching up to his wife.

"Jennifer!" Jonathan yells to her from behind, letting his wife know he is near.

"Jonathan!" Jennifer yells back over her shoulder with a smile.

Finally Mohamed and the Harts are about to depart from the marketplace. All of a sudden a police car pulls up with the lieutenant and Dr. Deacon in the front of the vehicle. Knowing he has nowhere to run, Mohamed stops in a panic, wondering what he should do. Before he can make a decision, Jennifer knocks him down with the truck, causing him to fall on his back. She barely misses running over him. Jennifer tries to figure out how to control the wheel to bring the machine to an abrupt stop. Before she can take any action, the forklift crashes into the front of the car, bringing the truck to a complete stop. Fuming with anger, the lieutenant dashes out of the car and stomps over to Jennifer. He puts his hands on his hips and looks up at her for an explanation. Jennifer smiles, nervously, and shrugs her shoulders. Jonathan comes up behind her and brings his truck to a stop. He hops down and rushes over to her as Dr. Deacon opens the door and gets out of the passenger side.

"Darling, are you all right?" Jonathan asks as he helps her down from the truck.

"Uh huh," Jennifer replies, nervously. "But darling," she says as she points her head to the lieutenant standing in front of them. Jonathan turns around. Seeing that the forklift truck crashed into the police car and the damage done to the front, Jonathan bursts out laughing. Once Jennifer realizes why he is laughing so hard, Jennifer bursts out laughing as hard as her husband. After managing to calm down, Jonathan puts his arm around her shoulder and gives her a kiss.

"I love you," Jonathan tells her, giving her a warm smile.

"I love you too," Jennifer says, returning her husband's warm smile as they place their heads against each other.

"I'm giving you, Mr. Hart, and you, Mrs. Hart, a ticket for driving those trucks without a license!!!! And YOU, MRS. HART,  WILL BE THROWN THE BOOK AT FOR CRASHING INTO MY VEHICLE!!!!" the lieutenant snaps as he takes out his notepad and pencil. "What do you say to that?!!!" he demands to know.

"That's nice," Jennifer replies in an affectionate tone as she and Jonathan are too distracted as they continue looking at each other with love in their eyes. Jonathan gives her another kiss as Jennifer closes her eyes.

Fairmont Nile City Hotel Several Nights Later

Jennifer is in her pajamas and lying in bed in their suite as she waits for Jonathan to finish getting ready in the bathroom. She has her head laying against the pillow and is thinking about something Jonathan had told her several days earlier.

"Jonathan," Jennifer shouts so her husband can hear her.

"Yes, darling, what is it?" Jonathan shouts back.

"You know there has been something on my mind that I have been meaning to ask you."

"What is that?" Jonathan asks as he walks into the room wearing his pajamas.

"You said it was my style that always makes the devious ones come onto me. What did you mean by that?"

"Well, in case, anyone forgot to tell you, you are a very attractive and charming woman. Any man in the world would have to be blind not to notice those qualities in you."

"Thank you for the compliment. Aren't you coming to bed?" Jennifer asks just as there is a knock at the door. "Who can that be at this hour?" she wonders, annoyed.

"Maybe a visitor."

"At ten o' clock at night?"

"I'll go see."

"If it is another reporter, just send them away and put a do not disturb sign on our door," Jennifer replies as Jonathan heads to the door. She hears the door open, and Jonathan talking to someone.

"Darling, would you come here, please? You have a visitor."

"Jonathan, I do not want to see anyone else. We haven't been left alone."

"I can't. This visitor needs your signature," Jonathan tells her.

"My signature?" Jennifer whispers to herself, puzzled, wondering what is going on. She gets out of bed and walks into another room. To her delight and surprise, Jonathan is standing with Shani beside him, who is holding a package in her hand.

"Mrs. Hart, would you care to sign for your gift, please?" Jonathan asks with a smile and a twinkle in his eye.

"Gift? What is going on?" Jennifer asks with a curious grin as she walks over and embraces her friend. "Shani, what are you and Jonathan up to?"

"I think it is called a surprise, darling," Jonathan teases her.

"Open up the box, and you'll find out," Shani replies with a smile as she hands her the package.

Curious and excited to find out what her gift is, Jennifer takes the package and opens it up. Jonathan and Shani watch with anticipation, anxious to see her reaction. Upon opening the package, she sees it is a silver jewelry box. On the top are the words engraved,"I give this as a gift of love to Jennifer Hart, from your beloved husband, Jonathan, and your friend for life who I owe a debt of gratitude, Shani."

Jennifer is moved by the gift and feels a tear come into her eye. "Oh, I just love my gift! Jonathan, was this your idea?"

"As a matter of fact, it was Shani's," Jonathan replies.

"After the way I treated you, I felt the least I should do was to buy you a gift. I know a lady who works at the marketplace. I had her engrave the message. If it hadn't been for you and Jonathan, the museum would have never recovered those artifacts. I also never would have been promoted to curator if Mohamed hadn't been caught for what he did. I still can't get over the fact that a man I worked for since 1972 changed into a different person."

"Shani, when money is involved it can change a person overnight," Jonathan replies. "But if that person changes that much and is willing to do anything for it, they never were the person you actually thought you knew in the first place."

"I can't think of a person better qualified for the job," Jennifer adds with a smile, kissing her friend on the cheek.

"You and Jonathan have done so much for me and the people of Egypt, I just feel I can't thank you enough. Speaking of the artifacts, what happened to the camera that was stolen?"

"The lieutenant found it in Mohamed's house," Jonathan replies. "Soon as we get back to Los Angeles, I'm going to hand it over to Frank to take a look at it."

"Well, I am just glad that everything that happened is finally over," Shani says with a sigh. "I'm going to leave to let you and Jonathan get some sleep. I'm tired after the award ceremony tonight."

"Get some sleep. Jonathan and I both appreciated being given the award by the museum. It wasn't really necessary."

"You and Jonathan are a very caring and gracious couple. You're both very lucky to have each other," Shani tells her friend as she walks to the door. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Jennifer tells her as Shani opens the door. She walks out, leaving Jonathan and Jennifer alone.

They walk back into their bedroom, hand in hand. Jennifer heads over to the dresser while Jonathan stands, waiting for her, while she places the jewelry box on the piece of furniture. She walks over to Jonathan and kisses him.

“Thank you for the gift! The box is beautiful.”

“So are you,” Jonathan replies with a smile. "You know this hunk you're married to has his own way of showing his love," he tells her as they get into bed under the covers.

"Really? What is it?" Jennifer asks, seductively.

Jonathan smiles. He takes her in his arms, and they roll over on their backs, locked into a kiss.

"Am I coming through?" Jonathan asks, pulling out of the kiss.

"Loud and clear," Jennifer replies with a grin.

Jonathan and Jennifer close their eyes as they continue kissing. Their romantic moment causes them to think back to another romantic moment from the past...........

Wow! Another great adventure! The Harts had their hands full in this one as well. From a lieutenant Jonathan and Jennifer called General Patton, I thought that was hilarious though, to a guy who nobody saw being a criminal mastermind, and to a partner of his that ended up dead in Crawford, who was his boss at the end of the day, and everything. This mystery had everything, and they were in Eygypt!

One thing for sure, I love the Harts sense of humor in these situations LOL! That comment when the madman said, do you have any last requests?!!! Jonathan said, Do you have a phone?!!! The madman laughed out loud. I thought that was pretty funny too. Then Jennifer is like, why is it the most devious ones always come onto me. Jonathan says it is her sense of style that is the reason the devious ones always come on to her.

And Jonathan is so right. Jennifer Hart is just so insanely beautiful, and gorgeous, any man would be insane not to hit on her, even if that man is a crazy madman. Jonathan is very lucky to have Jennifer as his gorgeous wife; Jennifer is really lucky to have Jonathan as her husband, but I think it's amazing how they rely on each other.

I'm really glad that Shani Hanani got her job back as well. Then she ended up being promoted to the same position that Abasi Momahed held since 1972. I'm sure she was pretty stunned that somebody she worked for all these years ended up being a corrupt businessman, and a criminal mastermind. Not to mention a murderer as well because he killed his boss Crawford.

It was good the Harts had a good ally in Egypt in Dr. Deacon because General Patton the lieutenant didn't like them at all. General Patton, that still makes me laugh LMAO! He was a much better help to them than the lieutenant was, and everything. He made their stay in Egypt so unbearable; I did think it was funny Jennifer ended up driving the forklift into the lieutenants police car. That was a fitting end to another adventure, this time in Cairo, Egypt.

The Harts even got arrested, but I just think that happened because the lieutenant didn't like them. For god sake, but even when that happened, they never lost their sense of humor or their sarcasm. That's really good because in situations like that you need a sense of humor, and sarcasm.

Finally got to finish this. Another awesome adventure for the Harts! Lots of sticky situations for them this time—so glad they found their way out of every one of them. Loved their humor and banter! Jennifer was especially spirited and determined in this one, culminating in that last chase. You do have a nack for the Hart banter, I’ve gotta tell ya. But boy do they need a vacation from this vacation!!! Hahaha! Great job! Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

This was another great story! I particularly loved the flashback videos being interwoven into this one. I also loved how Jennifer saves the day so to speak. You are so talented, and I so appreciate you keeping our characters alive! Thanks!
